How to make kitchen cabitnets look nice again without spending a fortune?

They are a little faded and scratch I don't to take them down and do all this extra work to them just a touch up they are a medium brown color.

  • Paint them or change the knobs.

  • You could try to find a furniture crayon to match the color and then touch-up the scratches.

    Putting on new hardware will spruce them up, too.

    You could also restain, glaze or paint them. You wouldn't even have to do the whole cabinet door if they have a raised or inset panel, you could just do either the panel part or the frame part.

  • I found Cabinet Magic to be *ok*
    I take it your cupboards are dark wood?

    I really like Liquid Gold for cleaing wood. It is very oily and will put some oil back into your wood.
    It smells really good. Its in a red and gold can.

    I've also used Orange Glo but don't like it as much as I like Liquid Gold.
