DONT you hate it when.... ?

Someone calls you Honey and they do not know you? Especially if they're the same age or younger.

Going through a drive through... some cracked out looking girl hair ungroomed, maybe a year or two older than I am... 23... Here you go hun.

I guess some people don't mind... I personally find it so annoying. Sometimes I even say thank you, now please don't call me hun, or honey. Thanks.

What are your thoughts? ( I know it can be a nice gesture... for a 5 year old )

  • It depends on who it is. If it's someone around my age who annoys the hell out of me, it grates on my nerves. If it's someone older, I don't mind.

  • Doesn't bother me. I guess I spent too much time in NY diners growing up. It was a prerequisite for the waitress of any age to call you "hon/honey." It beats ma'am.
