  • you can buy OVER THE COUNTER meds in ANY grocery store for conjunctivits and systeams. Ask the pharmasist also.

  • There really isn't anything you should be doing to your eye except cleaning it if you have conjunctivitis. You should be washing your hands every time you touch your face, and you should be changing your pillow case nightly. It is best to go see a doctor for it though...things like eyebright and other eye drops can do more damage than good.

  • like the first answer stated, you should NEVER use regular eye drops when youve got can make the infection worse to the point where it can cause blindness..if you really dont want to go to the doc and get the antibiotic eye drops (which i REALLY reccomend) flushing it with sterile water(and by this i mean medical grade sterile water you get at the pharmacy) is about all you should do...but go see the doc, your eyes are nothing to mess with!

  • They have over the counter homeopathic drops available. Other than that warm compresses, but I know my kids didnt want any part of that the drops were enough. If you have access to a juicer carrot juice with parsley is wonderful to help the process along as well. And definitely avoid bananas, sugar and starch until it clears all slow the healing process.
