can you produce milk without pregnancy?

I was doing a self breast exam last night and noticed that I was leaking a small amount of what looked like breast milk. I just got off my period a few days ago. I don't think pregnancy is a possibility, and even if it were, it would be too early for breast-milk... way too early. Any ideas what might cause this?

  • You can make milk at any time, but your hormones have to be right for it. I know that certain prescription drugs can cause you to spontaneously start lactating.
