If you are 80lbs over weight and go to the doctor for help what are the first things they will most likely do for you?

If you have already tried sticking to simple "diet and excercise" on your own and it didn't work out for whatever reason.

  • my guess is that they will draw blood and make sure that every thing is working correctly.

  • they won't do anything for you. They will just lecture you on finding a way. And they will blame you. And not believe you when you tell them what you have done. That's my experience anyway. If you are serious, get rid of all white flour and sugar. Eat NOTHING from packages. Everything from scratch. Walk outside in the fresh air and sunshine everyday. AND NOTHING with CORN SYRUP.

  • Blood work and such to see i you have thyroid problems or diabetes. Check your blood pressure and lipids etc to see if your cholesterol is high. They may offer meds and diet to help you lose if you think you can't do it yourself. My Dr recommends a natural line of pills for his patients but if they are on a specific diet he will offer certain drugs to help.
It really depends on how good a Dr you have.

  • Most likely nothing, besides tests. And they will find something to prescribe a drug....if they dont, they'll prescribe a drug to loose weight anyway. Try Reset your body, start with a 5 days low GI program , than maintenance to continue loosing as much needed the healthy way. Ask me about the reset program if you feel your doctor didnt help you...we can.
    Good luck
