Could swiching apts. affect my kids?

Living from apartment to apartment. We live in the current apt. 4 years but it is getting "tight" here. We found a better place another school district very far from my son's school.
Could this affect him. We are planning to ask for a transfer to a new public school. But I don't know...Thank you

  • How old is your son? In my opinion, changing schools is much easier when the children are younger. My family moved around a lot when I was a kid. I never had an issue with moving when I was smaller, but once I got into middle school it became and issue.
My brother and SIL just moved. Their daughter who is 9 had no issues with changing schools and quickly made new friends.
