  • 13 months here. I've seen EBF moms get it at six weeks, six months, 16 months or even longer...ALL return dates are normal and you need to consider yourself fertile at all times. I've even seen moms go baby to baby without a period in between...they ovulated and got pregnant. The egg comes first.

One observation...your period tends to return when it will be LEAST convenient. I think Aunt Flo is related to Murphy.

  • Sadly, I got mine back with both kids at about 11 weeks. I falsely thought it wouldn't return until I stopped bfing...sigh.

  • After mine it was between 9-13 months. After my 2nd I got pregnant before I got my period back, so I went almost 3 years without a period - it was heaven! lol

  • 11 months with both children. That was with the first 6months nothing but my milk, zero solids. People get it at different times and based upon what they are exactly doing. If they supplement and or do both bf and f/f it will return sooner. I also went very slow and light with the solids. but all and all it is just different for everybody.
