Ever regretted the name you gave your baby?

We didn't name our son 'til a few hours after he was born. DH came up with a name, i thought about it a bit and was like "sure!" Wish I had thought about it more. Mostly, wish I had switched the middle and first name so his first name would be after my dad (who died when I was a little girl). I know I could call him that, but afraid I might offend DH, because my brother calls him by his middle name because he HATES his first name, so DH is already offended by that. I don't want to hurt DH's feelings....

  • No way. I put 9 or months of thought into the names I gave my kids. I love em! I even got to help my sil choose my nephew's name. I have a thing for names. Though,I bet you'll find that the name given to your ds will sound better as time goes by and even fit him. ;)

I was going to name her hannah rebeckah but i found out that my aunt was going around telling everyone i was giving my dd her middle name so i changed it to hannah louise. I dont particuarly care for my aunt. and my sons name is something my husband came up with.
