Was your income tax return more or less of what initially was taken away from your annual wages/salary/income?

We pay in taxes about $28,000.00 we got back all together state and city return only 5,000.00. So it was significantly less.

  • about $350 more than we paid in...i guess thats the benefit of being "poor". but as we get older we will get less and less back b/c we will start making more and i will eventually go back to work. i would think (and im sure im wrong haha) that most families w/ parents under 25 years old in my area would be getting more than they paid back.

  • I dont remember for this year. In 2008 I was a single mother (legally I had my bf anyways) I made that year 4,800(I only worked a few months) and when I filed taxes I received back 4,500. So with that being said I received more.
