  • Mine's a little over 11 mos, but he's eats ANYTHING! lol I try to keep it to a 5-6 hour gap though. I give him veggies and fruits to munch on and then he has things like spaghetti, sometimes hot dogs (but not says not to feed him that "disgusting crap" LOL). I always give him what we're eating. I don't want to be a short order cook, so I figure if he gets used to what WE are eating, it will cut out the need for several different meals.

  • Try three meals a day, plus two snacks. At meals, try a couple tablespoons each of a veg, a starch, and a protein, then up it as your kid starts eating more. For snacks, try 2-3 tablespoons of food. Also, don't worry much about the protein part—they'll still be getting a significant amount of their protein from milk.

  • my girls just turned 1 but have been eating whatever we eat since 8 months. they get 3 meals, plus two snacks. and they eat a lot so i just plop a big spoonful of everything on their high chair tray and let them go at it.

  • Ditto to what Michelle451 said: At that age I give them some of whatever I'm eating whenever I eat. If they are hungry more, I feed them more!
