Need new diaper brand help

My daughter has been using pampers since she was born. Well she is in size 3, going to size 4 soon. I am not happy with the new pampers. They droop terribly and do not have as much lining, and I noticed they dont get wider they get longer. So they arent fitting as well around her thighs. I am planning on switching, but I am hesitant. I have no idea which diapers to go to. I dont mind paying for a better quality diaper. Also, can a baby get a diaper rash from using a new kind of diaper? Just wondering. Thanks so much.

  • when my daughter hit size 3 we switched to Huggies, they were way more absorbant and not much more expensive than Pampers, we never had a rash problem with switching diaper brands but some kids do have sensitivities to different things.

  • Try Luvs! I LOVED them with my 2 youngest kids.

  • i always use huggies! the only time i used pampers was when my son was newborn because i liked the yellow stip that turned green when he peed.... but! for me huggies little movers are the best, they dont sag or leak and they fit really well!

  • I've never noticed a significant difference between name brand and generic diapers, besides the price. We use Target's Up & Up brand. Love 'em.

  • I agree, the new pampers suck. and they smell weird lol. unfortunately they are the only ones my daughter can use because her skin is so sensitive

  • You can try Huggies. And yes baby can be sensitive to materials in a new diaper so watch out for any sudden rashes. I've no experience with the "new" Pampers. Of course my baby is starting on toileting so hopefully I may not have to.
