What can I use for black ants?

Tiny black ants are in several places in my house....HELP!

  • ecosmart makes a spray made out of cinnamon and clove oil, it works very well and is safe for kids and pets. you may have to order it online at
    the other thing, which i am sure you are doing is to leave no food behind.

  • We use vinegar at all entry points and to clean our hardwood floors; it covers up their scent trails so they just don't come that way. My mom used to use cayenne pepper at the entry points. We also have used those white ant bait traps; they do a pretty good job for the ones already inside.

  • I put out small piles of cornmeal and they're all gone at my house. They take it back to their ant hills and share it but can't digest it. Good for the environment and good for your family. : )
