torn cartledge

OK so i waited 2 months in pain and now doc sas torn cartledge in knee , I wonder what the ortho is going to do in 2 weeks? It is so painful

  • i think they can do a lot with lasers now, which should make everything easier, if they have to do surgery. i know someone who did not heal from his knee surgery until he quit taking his anti inflammatory medication. the body swelling is a part of the healing process, so to prevent that can prevent healing. just thought i would throw that in there! hopefully you won't need to do any surgery at all!

  • hte ortho will do surgury to repair the cart. my dad has had it done a few times. mil had it done once. it isnt a bad surgury. outpatient most of the time.
