If I was going to add sausage to this recipe

would I brown it first? I assume so but want to make sure.

  • Yes! Otherwise you will end up with all that grease in your soup or worse undercooked meat that isn't crumbled up! Always precook meats that you are going to put into soups or sauces! :) Recipe sounds delish! Have fun!!
