my sons health....

when my son was 4 months old he had to be on a nebulizer because the house we lived in had a leaky oil tank and he was breathing in the fumes for 2 weeks before we found out what the smell was.... ever since then he gets really sick about every 2 months... really raspy cough that last 2-3 weeks... fever of atleast 101 every time.... doesnt sleep... tylonal never helps.. i ALWAYS take him to the doctor or the ER everytime he gets that way and they ALWAYS tell me viral (all they do is look in his throat and ears) does anything think or know that it could be something more or have any idea what in the would it could be. if its viral then my daughter would get it too (wouldnt she?) and shes not sick nearly as often or as bad as he gets... i just dont know what to do... the doctors just dont seem to want to take the time to actually examine him!!

  • talk to your sons doctor. the next time he gets sick make in appt with you son doctor and have him/her check him out. i think she'll do a better job then these dumb lazy er dotors. if your sons doctor doesnt know his history of what happen let them know, so she could have idea of why he gets sick so often and for soo long, i wish your lil one the best of luck, and hopefully you find out what cause your son sickness! • try to find a homeopath. do you know exactly what fumes he was breathing in? you may be able to google long term effects of exposure to ....
you may be able to find a dr. to investigate this on your behalf...i wonder if poison control could help? they may just be for immediate help...i really don't know.
all i know, is that it is time to try something very different!
i wish you the best of luck!
