Bonding and feeding

Women who FORMULA feed can bond just as much as breastfeeding moms qith their baby. It is not the BM that creates the bond. It is the skin on skin contact.! Look it up!!!!!!
I breastefed my first baby and wasn't able to breastfeed my second. However, our bond is JUST AS STRONG.

Just sharing.....

  • of course you are correct! i don't know why that comes up in the pro bf debates honestly.
i do believe there is an added comfort to breastfeeding when it comes to colds, and teething though.

  • I think it is the snuggling/cuddling you do and the love you feel for baby as you feed them that makes the bond, not the formula or breastmilk.

  • it's not just about the skin to skin. there is also the hormon oxytocin that is released. Look it up!!!
