how do i potty train a 21/2 year old?

when she sees a pull-up and or panties she screams, run and cries no dont want to.i need some suggestions BAD.

    I'd say she's just not ready. Keep reminding her and encouraging her. She'll do it in her own time.

  • That first naswer is definitely way out there on the WRONG side of the spectrum. If she's not ready, she's not ready. You don't force it. If you do it causes even more issues in the future. Speaking from personal experience on this. My 4 1/2 yr old has suddenly stopped going in the potty because we forced her into it. We're back to square one with someone who has been potty trained for almost two years now.

  • i made my almost 3 year old daughter sit on the toliet until she peed. i filled her up with soda and other drinks she doesnt get very often put her potty chair in front of a tv and told her she couldnt get up until she peed. she cried and tried to get up many times i told her she couldnt get up. she finally gave up and peed. she was scared but it worked. no accidents for the last 3 days!
