What does it mean for our nation when the Obama Administration admits they have no idea how much ObamaCare will cost?

On Wednesday, Kathleen Sebelius(HHS) spoke before the House Appropriations Committee to discuss the appropriations for ObamaCare. The bill appropriated $5 billion for this program.. HOWEVER~ Sebelius admits to the committee, that was just a spit-balling number. In reality, no one has the faintest clue how much money will actually get spent on this program.

Is this a FINE example of Obama's Fiscal Transparency? Responsibility? Accountability?

  • Don't blame me! I voted for McCain. The sad part is, that once our country official hits rock bottom and we all are in deep-shit, the Obama lovers will STILL be defending him till the very end.

  • It means they're all ding-dongs and they don't know what they're doing. They just want more money, which we have no choice but to provide.

  • Ever had a major home renovation/remodel done or built your own home? Was the end price fixed or was it a work in progress and change over time? I've been involved in several and the price at the end, varied each and every time. Did anyone really think that a # would be assigned today that would reflect what it will cost in the years to come? Really? How gullible are people?

As a Contractor and Interior Architect, I take pride in coming IN or UNDER Budget... IF, as a consumer, you are paying more than the contract price, you are not being (1) Diligent enough (2) are letting your contractors run the show and not holding them accountable (3) Should have written a better contract... Which brings me back to asking yuo, how gullible do yuor contractors think you are?
