Obama is an environmental traitor!

White House: Oil spill no reason to stop drilling — The explosion at an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico is no reason to give up plans to expand offshore drilling, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Friday.

U.S. climate bill gives polluter and nuclear breaks--Bill to spur development of 12 nuclear plants

Look at these articles! Obama has embraced off-shore drilling, is unconcerned about oil spills, and wants more nuclear reactors, which means more nuclear waste.

I'm disgusted by this, and I voted for him.

Are you angry too?

  • The earth itself is the largest contributor to "oil pollution" there is. Drilling isn't the problem. We need to drill. We need to drill soon. Maybe, just maybe, PBO will actually keep one of his promises that will actually do some good and free us from dependence on other countries for our petroleum and tap into the reserves we have under our own feet.

The part that I disagree with is that he is unconcerned about the oil spills. Other than that, I have no problem. Maybe when there is another election, you will listen to what the candidate is actually saying before you cast your vote. Hopefully.

  • older, you are one of the few who don't feel a need to hide what they think. I do admire that, and respect you for that. It makes for a better debate when you can put a name to the one you are debating! I really don't like arguing with anons, so sometimes I get a little snarky with them, hehehehe!!

  • I'm not an environmentalist or a voter of Obama, but I can understand OP why you would be so mad since he positioned himself against this stuff during his campaign.
