If a wife is married to a military man and if the wife doesn't work and they have arguments to the point he grips her up and pushes her but he doesn't punch or slap her can the military pay for the wife and the kids to stay in a different place to live cause she's sacred to live with her husband. but how does she go about that without getting her husband into trouble with his command.

  • If you say anything to anyone, they HAVE to report it. So yes, if you say anything to anyone, he will get in trouble. HOWEVER, it's better he get in trouble and you get away if you feel unsafe, than have you safe and end up getting killed by him, which is a distinct possibility.

  • You can tell, your husband WILL get into trouble. The military will not support you if you leave your husband. He will pay child support, maybe spousal support. But, the military will not pay for you to stay somewhere else. And if he ends up in the brig then he will not get a check, you can't stay on base and you don't get child support. Now, I think his command can make him go to counseling if you report it.
