Do you think it is okay to re-date a guy you use to be in an open relationship with, now that you don't want to be in that kind of relationship anymore?

Please don't judge.

The relationship never started open, but we decided to see other people, but couldn't stay away from each other. It was like it brought us closer together being a part. We went our seperate ways after he had to go overseas and it is like we are picking up where we left off. We haven't slept together, but we are instantly bonding again. Just wanted some advice and not judgement.

  • Sure. I don't see why not. It's always ok to re-negotiate boundaries and see where it goes.

  • As long as he knows that's not what you want anymore... VERY clearly knows! :)

  • Um yeah if you want that type of relationship AGAIN. That's probably why he is seeing you. No committment. You have to make sure he knows what you want and you remain clear about that ALWAYS!

  • Just make sure that everyone involved is clear on the rules and expectations. Sit down and talk about it.
