what do you pack for your child to go on vacation?

im taking my 3yr old son on vacation in a few weeks, and i think i have everything down on what to pack for him.. but i still feel like im forgetting things. i mean obviously im packing the essentials, clothes, pullups, sandals and shoes, some small toys, toothbrush, sunblock, shampoo, body wash... but what else?? i have to be forgetting something! and i figured id ask you ladies for some help! thanks!

  • Some favorite small toys to keep him occupied either getting there or during down time. A few favorite books for bedtime stories. A blanket or stuffed animal if he sleeps with any.

  • I'd pack some of his favorite snacks, a sippy cup or no-spill cup/water bottle, a few books, his own pillow and blanket, his favorite toy/blanket/lovie (if he has one), a stroller (if he uses it and if you will be doing a lot of walking) and a few extra sets of clothes (in case of accidents).

  • fav blanket and pillow...also the first aid kit and some basic meds like motrin or tylonal

  • How does he do with strange/new bathrooms? When my dd was that age she would not use the bath room on the plane. So you might want to consider bringing pullups or diapers.

  • i think he'll be fine with the bathroom on the plane. we took the train to the city a couple weeks ago and used that bathroom fine
