what do you pack for your child to go on vacation?

im taking my 3yr old son on vacation in a few weeks, and i think i have everything down on what to pack for him.. but i still feel like im forgetting things. i mean obviously im packing the essentials, clothes, pullups, sandals and shoes, some small toys, toothbrush, sunblock, shampoo, body wash... but what else?? i have to be forgetting something! and i figured id ask you ladies for some help! thanks!

  • My kids all have small (throw) blankets that they use at home, so I always take those along with thier own bed pillows. Of course I always take my own pillow too since I've been stuck too many times with chessy pillows and didn't sleep well.

  • and tylenol!!!!! you just never know!! And depending on how you are travelling, books, and a portable dvd player with some dvds. Have fun!

    oh yes! I take that as well as children's pepto or another tummy trouble medication "just in case"

  • Snacks!!! And little things to keep him occupied- coloring books, action figures, hot wheels, whatever he's into... have fun!!

  • What about a portable DVD with his favorite movies. Depending on were you are going, don't forget the bug repellent.
