Do you ever give your toddler just a plain piece of bread for a snack?

Sometimes that all she wants is bread! Nothing on it...she won't eat it. Just plain ol bread.

  • Why not?
Like pp said, better than junk- but I also consider white bread "junk", so you may be asking a loaded question.

  • But I have 100% whole wheat bread, so it's not just white bread.

  • I at least smear it with something with a nutritional/calorie punch and fold it in half. Peanut butter, cream cheese and fruit, homemade cheese spread. Toddlers need fat for their little growing brains!
