Can you still dialate if your baby is laying transverse ???

  • Yes, your cervix can still dilate, however it would be a lot more helpful if the baby's head was down and helping in the process. However if the baby is in a transverse position during labor, the doc will either have to turn baby manually or a C-Section would be necessary.

  • Im not sure but either way if your baby doesnt turn vertical before or during the begining of labor your going to end up with a c section...

  • Yes. There are exercises you can do to help encourage positioning. And of course, labor contractions are good to help move baby into a nice position, too.

  • you could see a chiropractor daily to get your pelvis alligned, leaving more room for the baby to turn on its own, you could also look up exercises to turn a baby like doula said. some dr's will manually turn the baby from the outside. you would have to talk to your dr. about that.
