  • I'm in Oregon and I have heard about this. It is kind of disturbing since it has a 25% fatality rate. The only good thing seems to be that it is not widespread yet.

  • I live in Oregon and I hadn't heard of it until now. I guess it's time to pack up and move to Washington just to be safe.

  • Not sure what to think. I remember years ago there was something like that in Washington St. My MIL succumbed to it. It caused like a pneumonia and was very hard to cure.
    I'll have to ask my BIL who is a Pedi in southern WA if he knows anything about it.
