How would you feel about a Canadian Socialist Democrat being appointed to the supreme court?

Obama is considering appointing Michigan governor Granholm to the supreme court. She fouled this state up enough he may as well let her foul up the supreme court as well.

  • The first two posters must be clueless about the state of Michigan. Before being so DARN HAPPY, why don't you check out the unemployment rate in Michigan, (14.9% of the labor force - Mar 2010) foreclosure rate in Michigan, (One in every 136 Michigan housing units received a foreclosure filing) and poverty rate in Michigan. (About one in every seven people in Michigan - 14.4 percent - lived in poverty)

You can see what a wonderful job she has done with her social programs. *sarcasm*

  • Add to that, mancos: one of the first budget cuts she made as governor was to the schools. Since then we've had several schools close due to lack of funding. She also made cuts to law enforcement and closed prisons. One whole county (Lake County) that happens to be the poorest in the state lost 200 jobs when she closed the prison in that county. They couldn't afford to lose those! The economy in that county alone almost crashed.

  • We have been in a recession since shortly after she took control of our economy. Long before the rest of the country. She has signed some of the worst economic policy in history.

  • If Michigan is a example of socialism, the answer would be NO F-CKING WAY!  The b-tch took the state and ran it into the ground.

  • Disgusting but if there could be a silver lining I guess it would help Michigan to be rid of her.
