Do you remove the water from a rice cooker? I lost the direction booklet. Help....

  • No. Its supposed to be all gone by time the rice is done.

  • NO. Just use 2 parts of water for 1 part of rice.

  • Put rice in the pot.PUT a lid on it and DO NOT REMOVE the lid.DO NOT STIR. just wait til the water is all gone..then its done...

  • If you mean a rice steamer, where you put water in the bottom for steam, then put a bowl on top with the rice & water mixed, then yes, you should change the water in the bottom section if there is any left after the rice is done steaming.

    If you mean an actual rice cooker, where the water & rice are mixed together & then cooked, no, there shouldn't be any water left b/c the rice should have absorbed it all.
