I sent my son's absent father an IM Saturday morning asking him to buy our son a tricycle. He hasn't responded, do you think I should call him?

  • Wow, you guys are awful narrow minded!

Whatever happened to people communicating, like adults, rather than bogging down the system?

  • Yes, I would just give him a call be very nice.

I would like to know if you did get my im. IF he says yes, then ask would you be able to buy him a bike???

Be nice, don't be nasty. :) Good luck

  • Depends on how well the two of you get along. If every conversation ends in an argument, it doesn't do anyone, any good. If you can be civil, sure, give him a call.

  • no If he is absent do you really expect him to show up with a shiny new toy
It sucks when dads bail but women need to start accepting it stop stirring up drama cause it wont change a loser

Let it go and do for your kid yourself it sets a much better example than begging for help

  • You could try, he's probably not going to do it anyway, the fact that he's not answers says something.

  • No.

He's absent. Buy your child a tricycle.

Also be sure that your attorney is taking care of child support arrangements if they are not in place.

  • Do you think he'll buy the bike?? If there's a chance he will, I'd contact him, if not let it go!! What I would be doing is contacting him to spend some time with his child.... good luck=)
