  • While this may be the only crime they ever commit in their lifetime, it is True they have committed a criminal act. They have broken the law instead of coming into the country in the legal way, they purposely came across the border went over or under a fence, were hidden in a vehicle, or in some cases came across legally but just didnt leave when their granted stay was over. I understand why they do it but no matter the why we have laws for a reason and if you want to come over to a country the best course of action is to have respect for it from day 1 by following those laws. It doesnt matter what country you are going to or coming from.

  • False, a lot of people that come into this country are desperate for a better life, and some are even politically persecuted. A lot of them want a better life for their families, yes they originally break the law, and a lot of them make plans to become legal. If you would only put yourselves in their shoes if only for a moment, you would not ever consider them criminals.
