  • Dairy foods hand on around the waist. Not sure why exactly, but I have definitely read that.

  • It's not so much WHAT you eat, it's what you DON"T eat. Add MUFAs to your diet (monounsaturated fatty acids) like avacados, nuts, olives and olive oil, dark chocolate as written about in the Flat Belly Diet. If it's belly fat you're hanging onto, these foods, though high in calories, contain the RIGHT fats--the ones that help rid your belly of fat.

  • I've actually read that low fat dairy products lead to smaller waistlines.
