  • 5K... for 200 people in 2006.

My mother paid for most of it, only because if she hadn't we weren't getting married... We would have been happy not to be married...

  • 300-500.00 and my inlaws paid for it, we had a courthouse wedding and then a nice big reception with catered food. Honestly my wedding cake cost 40.00 bucks! :) We have been married almost six years.

  • Couple - a - parents. We were married by the local JP. Restated our vows a few months later in church for hubby's grandparents. Most of the $200-300 bucks went to the minister's honorarium that he promptly gave back to my dad to give to us.

  • Not a terrible lot - $3,000 I'd guess. My parents paid for it. ILs paid for the rehearsal dinner and tuxes.

  • For our wedding, not food or clothes, the actual wedding was $81.00. It was $15.00 for the marriage license and $66.00 was the fee of the judge who married us. My parents insisted on buying my wedding clothes and threw the reception. Spending thousands of dollars on what amounts to a party didn't really appeal to us.
