what can my baby chew on?

my 5 month old is teething, and she's getting her back teeth first. she doesn't like teething rings a whole lot, and I'm not sure if they even reach to her back teeth. what are some other things she can chew on? I've heard frozen waffles, and cold, peeled carrots. any other ideas?

  • My mom said that a frozen chicken thigh bone was a favorite for our house- just strip it of all meat, the fragments of cartilage, and any bone fragments, freeze and serve!

  • I didn't know it was possible to get their back teeth first. DS likes to chew on my fingers more than anything :(. I think because he can get them to his back gums, which do seem to bother him the most.
