Is this considered being a Work at Home Mom?

I have been a SAHM for about two years, but I want to contribute. Getting a job out of the house isn't an option because I can't drive due to epilepsy. So I'm trying to make money with my painting skills. I have already received my first commission [a painting for someone's house], so it made me wonder.... In your opinion, would me selling my artwork make me a WAHM? Or would I just be a SAHM who sells paintings?

  • I'm not an expert on the subject, but I would say that if it is bringing in some kind of regular income then you would be considered a WAHM. I love art. Do you have a website or blog or anything where you show your work? I would love to see.

  • Thanks ladies! I'm still building up my portfolio, but once I get enough completed art to show all my different styles, I will definitely put up the link to my blog.
