  • Nope, I have for years made our own hot cereals from whole grain (grind up barley, oats, rice, millet) and topped it off with fruit, or molasses. I also make our Granola

  • I think this is funny. You swear to god we were munching on crisco or something. So what if you have a lil sugar, I mean your comparing apples with apples ... so some have more fiber but lots of sugar .... I think it's better than pop tarts and all the other junk you can eat in the morning. AND its wayyy better than not having breakfast. If you're not trying to lose weight and you eat a balanced diet the rest of the day I don't see the problem ... there are bad sides to most breakfast foods anyway! Not to mention at least your washing it down with milk :)

  • actually no we dont like any of those cereals. but we do occasionally eat cin toast crunch, capn crunch, frosted flakes, etc.

  • i think he has had the raisin bran before but im not that worried,hes tall, thin, active takes vitamins has always been healthy and rarely gets more worried about soda,koolaide and capri suns

  • We don't eat any of those. I'm an avid label reader because of my diabetes, so I really watch the carbs/sugar. Our cold cereal is usually Fiber One or All Bran, sometimes cornflakes. Our usual breakfast is oatmeal, pancakes, muffins or omelets.

  • We aren't cereal eaters. I occasionally buy Cheerios but more often than not they go stale before the box can be finished. Breakfast shouldn't be full of sugar, its not dessert.
