How often do you accidentally get hurt?

I went months and months without any burns, stubbed toes, or cuts. All of a sudden it seems like it's happening every other day! Curse my luck.

  • ALL the time. In this house, its not a home cooked meal until mommy has hurt herself.

  • Oh it depends on my activity. After I fell down the steps going into the garage and broke 3 ribs, I am trying the "stay on the couch" approach. If I don't get up, I can't fall!!!!!!!!!

  • Really often! I stub toes, fall down the stairs, run into furniture... and my kids drop things on my feet and accidentally poke me in the eye!

  • My husband always finds a way to stubb his toe and the kids thinks its hilarious.
I burn myself at least twice a month. Odds are increasing since I work at a bakery.....doh!
I cut my finger at least once a month, like a bad cut.

  • Have you ever been walking or hurrying thru the kitchen and you bump your hip on the side of the counter?
It happens to me just about everyday. OOOouch!

  • I end up doing something to myself at least 3-4 times a day. If I do manage not to do something to myself for a couple of days it will usually end up with me hitting my head on something really hard.

  • I don't injure myself often that I notice.... I think I have a higher than normal pain tolerance though lol....

I do have an issue at work though. I'm a police officer and I forget to leave enough clearance going through doorways or around things and bang my holster at least once a shift. It's always loud and it's embarrassing! I've been on for 8 years and you would think I would be used to it by now lol... Ah well....I'm a bag of hammers sometimes :)
