Is running the shower with hot water and steaming up the bathroom like a sauna?

I cant afford to go to a gym or a sauna place but i heard its good for you

  • I think it's more of the whole ambiance thing that you are missing here. The sauna is rather a dry heat and it feels so good. Your bathroom would be more of a humidified area, so no, you are not going to get the same affect. But, you can pretend, I guess.

  • I live in northern minnesota and the saunas here are a humid heat...I think the bathroom does duplicate it...but your just wasting water and energy to heat the water

  • It doesn't stay long enough for you to get a real sauna. But they sell kits to make in home saunas. :)
