Is it okay to give my 3 month old juice?

Not straight juice somewhat watered down..

  • no that is not acceptable at all

    did you know fruit juice contains acid

    did you know a baby's stomach is not sealed

    anything other than breastmilk can cross this unsealed barrier and cause lifelong problems

    no, juice should not be given at three months

  • Not at all - louise2, diarrhea is NOT a normal reaction in digestion, that means the tummy can not handle what it is trying to process.

  • it gives nearly EVERYONE diarrea!!! lol (well it does to me-and im in my 20s!!) lol best advice i can give, with working with kids from 0-15yrs old (day care&@ school district) is this...

    the question you should ask yourself is "why do i want to feed my baby juice?''
    is it to give something different to a perfectly healthy baby?
    is it to give them something sweet?

    advice: Juice? not such a good idea. unless ur trying to solve constipation (that has been going on for 3+daw-¬ &u cant go c ur pediatrtion)
    if ur trying to give them something sweet..think about it this way, when the child is older- that's ALL they are going to want.

    ALSO:: keep in mind, giveing your child juice/water-whatever u want BESIDES formula/breat milk is going to do one of a few things.. keep in mind, once they start drinking it - they are going to get full on that &wont be able to drink the neccisary amount of formula/breast milk (CONTINUE...
