does anyone know if yoga works for migrains????????

  • it will not hurt, that is for sure. do you know the triggers of your migraines? i believe one of the greatest things aobut yoga, is the breathing instruction. most people do not breathe in deep enough, so we are essentially depriving our cells of oxygen that they need to function optimally. also yoga can be a great stress reducer, if stress has anything to do with your pain. being well hydrated is a very good idea too.

And if you looking for healthy ways to prevent new migraines to add to the yoga get pharmaceutical grade supplementation... calcium, antioxidants (for free radicals caused by the stress) .... and fish oil were tested and work great. But they have to be the right amount(more than the FDA recommendations) and balanced.
