God said "let US make them in OUR image".

Im honestly confused. some help?
God says "Let us make them in our image" .. (why the use of us & our.. as though talking to others..)
Ive read they say its the Trinity (God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit).. but that includes Jesus. Jesus was not here yet.. there are many people that came before him.. so im confused by this!!!

  • The us is God and Jesus. Jesus is Gods "begotten" son. John 3:16 and Rev 3:14 Begotten in the bible means created only by God, Gods firstborn, and only begotten son. Then they together made humans.

  • When you cross reference it with Jn1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.. Then Jn1: 14 And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, and we saw his glory the Glory of as of the Father's only son, full of grace and truth. The son was always with the Father from the beginning. Read the rest of the First chapter of John. I just took a few passages to point this out.
