  • Go to DFACS, they will give you all the paperwork you need to fill out to apply for Medicaid and any other program you may qualify for. The health department is where you can generally apply for WIC. If you qualify for Medicaid, you will qualify for WIC as well. (at least that is how it is in Georgia) Good Luck!!

  • you just go to your local health department or dhs office and fill out the form, and turn it in. depending on your income you may have to pay a small part of some things. i suggest doing it now! it can take months to get approved.

  • where i am if you are pregnant you will get approved a lot quicked assuming you will meet the income limit. you just go to the social services office and apply, they may hav ea big group that meets all at once or you will talk to someone individually, but you have your information about u and your DH's income and social security cards and such and thats it.

  • Everybody's got that covered. It can be frustrating though so hang in there and good luck. Tell your hubby thanks and you and your family too.
