Vaccinations for school.

Do kids have to be caught up on their vaccinations to be in all public schools or does it depend on what state you live in? I live in Indiana.

  • All you have to do is to go a notary and have them witness you signing the immunization form that states you don't believe in the vaccinations and it is done. But if you are just behind and want your child to complete the vaccinations, you need to get those caught up before they let you start school. Talk to your school nurse. They can help you with the process.

  • Most states have some sort of waiver. Be it religious, medical, or philosophical. Google search vaccine waivers and you can find out what yours has.

  • if you don't want to vaccinate, go to for vaccine exemption forms for your state.
