  • Not too young. We got one for our 9 year old, but not engraved. It's also a children's Bible.

  • From as early as I remember, my siblings and I each had one of this little pocket new testaments. When we learned to read, then we got a full-sized, large print Bible.

  • I received one when I was 5 and still have it. I think that when they can read, they're at a fine age for one.

  • I don't think so, just yesterday at my Bible Study group some women were talking about how their 7-8 year olds wanted to read the real Bible and not the little kids Bibles any more. I think it's a probably a good time.

  • My children have all gotten a kids version at birth. They have board books with the beatitudes, bible stories and verses... they are never too young.
