  • its not about the time, its about what you do. you need to spend about 30 minutes minimum on cardio, including warm up and cool down, but you need to spend at least 20 minutes at your target heart rate. After that you can do whatever toning exercise you want.

  • That is more than enough, but the best time to work out is during the morning hours, it sets the pace for the rest of the day and you will burn calories for the rest of the day.

  • 1. Work out as early in the morning/day if you can... You workout out at night may be the reason u cant sleep.. Working out can actually make your body "wake up" and want to be more active.. so by working out at night you may not get a good restful sleep & feel crappy the next day, not a good rollercoaster to be on.
    2. Work out 30min @ minimum. 30min is said to "maintain" your weight.. always make sure you get your heart rate up to make the most of your workout, you dont want to be comfortable the whole time & always try to use some type of weight/toning exersize. you want to gain some muscle, it will help you burn more calories..
You could try working out 5 days wk. Do 3 days of just cardio, then 2 days of cardio + strength training.
    Good Luck! :)
