  • Around 9 months with my first one (he was late teething) He was completely on table food by 12 months. I started around 8 months with my second son. He was completely on table food by 10 months.(All organic homemade food, nothing packaged or processed)

  • Any time after around 9 months. Each kid is different. My DD didn't like the texture of anything that wasn't pureed until around 14 months old. My DS, on the other hand, was eaiting slices of apple at 10 months.

  • I started around 9 months for very soft stuff. Green beans and peas - just make sure they are real soft, like from a can or better yet from a can of soup.

  • My kids went completely to table food at 8 months. Of course, I still cut things up into small pieces.

  • I gave her pick up foods as soon as she could pick them up...so about 7 months? I bought my daughter those graduate puffs because they melt in the mouth but she's almost 14 months now and eats what i eat for dinner (usually, she had trouble with pork tenderloin last night for dinner so I made her a grilled cheese:-p)...she only has her front 4 teeth but I still give her everything except for really tough meats and uncooked veggies.

  • You can start giving your child easily mashable table foods (mashed potatoes, soft veggies, etc) at six months. If you feel that your child is ready to have table foods and they've showed interest in trying. Like grabbing at your plate, getting mad that they're not having what you're having, asking (in their way) for a bite when you're eating, etc. If you and your child are ready then at six months you can start table foods.

  • Hahaha...my kid had teeth early and understood chewing. LOL He wouldn't eat "baby food". So, I made it myself starting at 6 months, he progressed to big people food fast. By, 9.5 months, he was holding and taking bites or kid burgers. He never picked up food really, he preferred to use a spoon or fork. Or let me feed it to him.
