So ladies what is going on behind the scene?

So far the way this works is alot of hype is built up on an issue. The media becomes a huge helpful hand in working it all up into a big old frenzy..speculations fly..emotions run high..

Meanwhile, what are those lawmakers on the hill doing? What do they have in store for us next?

I'm Puerto Rican, and against it becoming a state. Does that make me a racist hater?

Autumn, Puerto Rico has voted down possible statehood three times in recent years. It is the people of Puerto Rico who should make this choice, not Congress, not Americans in the US.

  • Why wouldn't the people of Puerto Rico want their country to become a state? They would have to be nuts to object. Nobody has it better that those of us who live in the United Staes.

  • Mancosmamma, I was asking the question of a previous post in the thread. I assumed from the tone that that person doesn't live in Puerto Rico. So I was just wondering why anyone living outside of Puerto Rico would object? I"m not at all questioning the motives of you and all others who live in Puerto Rico, I agree 100% it should be your choice!
