  • You are paying $100 a week for 2 children, one special needs. That's 40-50 hours a week? So you think it's only worth $2 an hour to care for your children.  I would charge at least $250 a week. That's if they are easy kids. I took care of a little autistic boy and his sister for 2 years so I know what it's like.

  • I think you are charging FAR to little based on the amount of hours

  • You're the sitter. I thought you were the mom. I would ask a min. of $250 up to half the mom's pay. I think watching someone's kids should be worth half their pay.

  • Well I just don't want to get too pricy for her..her mom just passed and I know times are hard right now..Not only that her old babysitter was calling her son(the autistic) one stupid and retarded and she called him a dumb ass.

  • Sorry, that's way too little. I'd be asking that for one week. If it's full time.
