U.N. Elects Iran to Commission on Women's Rights
NEW YORK — Without fanfare, the United Nations this week elected Iran to its Commission on the Status of Women, handing a four-year seat on the influential human rights body to a theocratic state in which stoning is enshrined in law and lashings are required for women judged "immodest."
The UN is corrupt, and this certainly proves it. Iran should be investigated for Human Rights violations of women, not added to the commission.
The fox is in the hen house now. Won't matter how many Iranian women get beaten, see their kids stolen, or are murdered. The UN certainly won't stand up for them.
Nice work screwing women, UN.
