  • And Denver is using ANY federal funds ANYPLACE in their school systems?

I pay taxes too, and I said it;s okay for public school employees to travel to Arizona.
Where's the constitution when you need it?

  • OP--The mayor of San Francisco said the same thing the other day. I believe they are forbidding travel of state employees to Arizona for OFFICIAL BUSINESS--not for state/federal employees to travel to Arizona on their own/personal time! Big difference!!!

  • Wah Wah Guess they will be losing some business then. Takes 2 to do business. Seems they are shooting themselves in the foot here.

  • OP: I stand corrected. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FREEDOM OF TRAVEL. The government can AT WILL decide where you can travel. Wow.

  • Well, I can be a snot too! We usually spend a couple of days in Denver on our way to Texas every summer. The boys love the museum and the zoo. Maybe we'll just head south through California and spend a day or 2 in Arizona instead. We haven't seen the Grand Canyon yet.
