I need some products that use the name of the mythological Greek gods.

Doing a school project and I need to bring in wrappers or advertisement from projects that use these gods.

any ideas?

  • Phoenix- a car manufactured by Pontiac

    Trident (that Poseidon carries)- a brand of gum

    Titan- a model of full-sized trucks manufactured by Nissan

    Trojan- a brand of condoms

    Hermes- Hermes bags/purses. Hermes is also the logo of FTD flowers

    Atlas- Atlas, a book of maps

    Ajax- Ajax, the popular household cleanser

    Apollo- a car manufactured by Buick
    Versace- the logo for Versace is actually a representation of Medusa

    Olympus- company that manufactures cameras

    Starbuck's- the logo of Starbuck's is a Siren

    Dove soap- Dove soap was inspired by Aphrodite's symbol the dove, and Aphrodite was the goddess of beauty, among other things

    Odyssey- Odyssey, a minvan manufactured by Honda

    Echo- a car manufactured by Toyota.

    Electra- a car manufactured by Buick

    Eos- a convertible manufactured by Volkswagen

  • Nike is Greek mythology. Winged goddess of Victory, who can run and fly at great speeds; famous shoe company

    Here are some more --

    Mars - Roman name for Ares, god of War; name of popular candy bar.

    Midas - King with the golden touch, who transformed all he touched to gold; a famous muffler and brake chain of service stations

    Minerva - Roman name for Athena, who gifted the olive tree to humans; Minerva Oil Company is an international exporter of fine food products

    Titans - Race of gods preceding the Olympians; Titan Tool & Die Company manufactures tools for industry

    Trident - The three-pronged spear of Poseidon, god of the seas; Trident Gum is a popular gum. (Note: 'Tria' is Greek for 'three' and 'donti' means 'tooth')

  • Artemis - I think there is a perfume with this name.... she was the Goddess the moon, forest, childbirth and the hunt.

    Nike - the winged personification of the Victory

    Greek heroes and heroines - Ajax (the bathroom cleaner/dish soap), Castor (castor oil), Pandora (jewlery)

    You can probably google each of those and get and add or something about them.

  • I used to use a Greek seasoning called Zeus. I haven't been able to find it in years and I'm not sure if it is still in production. It was very good! Wish I could find some! I think everyone else has covered the stuff I thought of immediately. :)
